ANobAG Quest #3: Going Well

Good news about my ANobAG quest.

First of all, I finally managed to get an UVG insurance. It was tricky, two insurers rejected me because of the infamous chicken-and-egg problem, they could not get over it. Interestingly, at least one of these insurers told me they don’t do UVG directly, but work with an external partner. I suspect also the other one offers UVG through a third party, had I reached directly to these parties I think they would have been able to move forward. Other two insurers sent me their offers, I chose one of the two, then I received the policy after some days.

Then I sent the copy of the UVG policy to the AVS/AHV of Zerneve and… miracle! After just two days they sent me per post the letter of acceptance as ANobAG!

This is great, now I am basically settled and ready to start my new contractor activity in 2025. There is a couple of lower priority things missing, such as applying for allowances and opening a 2nd pillar, I’ll write a complete howto guide after I’m done with these as well.
