Today I called the tax office of the city of Zerneve, because they should be the ones responsible for the refund of my tax declaration from years 2020, 2021, and 2022. I found at the phone an Italian-speaking guy even! But the news are, well, not exciting.
The guy was like “Uhhh… OK, lemme check… yes… yes.. uh-uhm… uhm, this might be a problem… uh-uhm… yes… yes…” and I was SWEATING.
At the end he tells me something like: “OK, I can confirm that we have elaborated and approved all your retroactive tax assessment of 2020, 2021, and 2022. Now we are just waiting that the kantonal tax office sends us the money, and then we can refund to you. I doubt this will happen before the end of summer holidays“.
