Unbelievably everything went smoothly!
We went in person to the Asylum and we handed over all the gigathousands documents we collected for Mei-Lin’s application to Italian citizenship. Only thing of concern is that they also took the original of the Italian language certificate, but whatever, I don’t think Mei-Lin will need it anytime soon.
Now we just have to wait and they will invite again Mei-Lin to the Asylum for the Oath.
Waiting time: approximately 2 years.

At this point there is not much left for us to update you in this blog, so posting frequency will (hopefully) decrease. But of course there might new occasional issues, FOR EXAMPLE MY TAX DECLARATION FROM 2020 IS STUCK AGAIN, AYFKMAYFKMAYFKM.
