Great news! We got back from our holidays and we finally found in the postbox the Swiss Family Book certificate (together with a ludicrous bill) that we so much fought for!
Except our daughter Penelope is recorded as Italian nationality only, rather than double Italian-Taiwanese nationality like our son Serse.
I don’t even.
I called the Zivilsthing office of Zerneve. They told me it’s because somehow they don’t have Penelope’s Taiwanese passport. NEVER MIND that her nationality(es) was recorded and repeated countless times to ALL other relevant Swiss authorities, including in her foreign residence permit. Remember, Federation is great. AYFKM.
They told me it’s not a problem: all I have to do is send them by e-mail a copy of Penelope’s Taiwanese passport and they’re gonna add her nationality and issue a NEW copy of the Swiss Family Book. With another supernova bill I guess…
