Things are finally moving the right way.
We are currently in Spelunca, Italy, enjoying our deserved Sol Invictus holidays. Just before leaving Zerneve, we received communication that Mei-Lin’s certificate of Italian language knowledge finally arrived. We made it just in time to get an appointment and pick it up at the Asylum.
Now the only thing missing is the Italian translation of the Japanese Schroedinger’s Police Records certificate. We found a professional translation agency here in Spelunca, they told us the translation should be ready beginning of January, we should make it in time to pick it up before we go back to Zerneve.
After that, we should have everything for Mei-Lin’s Italian citizenship application.
Furthermore, there are good news regarding our application for Penelope’s inclusion in the cursed Swiss Family Book as well. After failing the process for the fourth consecutive time, about ONE MONTH AGO we did as Satan suggested, and we sent them an additional, untranslated birth certificate. Two days ago we received a communication from Zerneve’s Zivilstandsamt: All the documents sent by Satan have arrived to them and they will now process them (I assume after holiday break). If everything goes well we will soon be able to request the complete and corrected Swiss Family Booklet.
