Back From Taiwan: Debriefing

We are finally back from Taiwan, and I can now update you on the status of things. I can proudly say that it went impressively well: we managed to do almost everything, we packed our agenda as much as possible and we managed to complete all tasks by the very last day before departing! I got my Gold Card renewed, we got Serse’s Taiwanese passport and had him recorded in the Household Registry, and we got all Taiwanese documents for Mei-Lin’s application for Italian citizenship translated and legalized. We also obtained and double-legalized all the documents necessary for Penelope’s inclusion in the cursed Swiss Family Book, but only on the very last day, so we didn’t make it in time to send them per post to Satan before leaving, That’s not a big deal: I scanned them and sent them to Satan per mail just to be sure, and then Mei-Lin’s relatives will mail them to Satan as soon as we get green light.
